As part of his development agenda, the Member of Parliament for Prestea Huni-Valley, Hon Robert Wisdom Cudjoe has constructed a bridge on the river of Kuranti Station, a farming community within the constituency.
According to the MP, until the bridge was constructed, residents of the community found it difficult to access the road that lead to the Huni- Valley town and other communities.
He added that the completion of the bridge on would now make transportation easy for the people, especially farmers to cart their farm.produce to the market centres.
Hon Cudjoe told EXPRESSNEWSGHANA in parliament that, the Kuranti Station Bridge project is among several of developmental projects that he has executed since he was elected MP in 2020.
He however assured the constituents that, he remained committed to their basic needs and asked for continue support to bring the needed projects for their benefits.
Some of the constitients who were present when the MP inspected the project, he said expressed their profound gratitude for the intervention.
They said they were much impressed
about the work done so far and thanked the MP for responding to their requests
with urgency.
Residents used to find it difficult to cross the river when it rains
but now they could comfortably use the road anytime as the bridge is constructed.
The project is being scheduled to be commissioned next month in June, 2023, as part of the MP working tour of the constituency.
