Information picked by EXPRESSNEWSGHANA indicated that Mr. Boakye Agyarko has stepped down in the pending run off of the New Patriotic Party ( NPP ) special delegates to elect five for flagbearer conference in November, 3023.
He stepped down for Francis Addai Nimo ahead of the November 4, Presidential Primaries.
Both Aspirants were on level pegging at the end of the Super Delegates Congress a situation that meant the NPP must conduct elections for the two for one to join the other 4 Aspirants.
The duo obtained nine votes each, putting them in a tied position which must be separated by delegates in a run off.
But with this decision by Boakye Agyarko, Addai Nimo joins Vice President Bawumia, Kennedy Agyapong, Alan and Osei Akoto.
