Eid-Ul-Fitr Message by Rt. Hon. Alban S. K Bagbin, Speaker of Parliament.
With sacrifice, compassion and empathy ingrained as one of the most prized bastions of the Islamic faith in celebrating the festival of Eid-Ul-Fitr, I cannot but appreciate the ultimate service to humanity in this holy month of Ramadan (fasting).
Just as prayers have been offered, seeds sown, alms given, love extended, kindness expressed, it is my ardent prayer that in this period of cleansing, as Allah bestowed his mercy on you, Allah will equally accept your requests, oblation and devotion towards others and bless you with the utmost benefaction of prosperity.
